We were very pleased to visit this restaurant. The food was great very savory and generous. The staff is welcoming and always smiling. As for the atmosphere, the setting is very cozy, in the middle of the garden under a beautiful tent. Very heartwarming. A must try if you re visiting Limoges.

Le Jardin Extraordinaire

As you would expect, the service was impeccable with knowledgeable and attentive staff. The ambience was calming and comforting, with that hushed, unrushed atmosphere, soft lighting, plush carpets, warm and deep colours in a classic building that is also a hotel. The vodka martini was excellent and so were the wines selected for the 7 course degustation menu that we opted for. However, we were not able to give full marks for this Michelin star restaurant. We each had a plate that didn&#39;t quite meet the quality that we might have expected, but that could be an issue of taste. Overall the plates were great expressions of flavour with a delicate penchant towards the sea: oysters, shellfish, fish, but also a plate of veal. The comparison we often come back to is The Grove in Auckland, New Zealand and  it was the same this time: the Grove&#39;s 5 course degustation was more innovative, a little more daring, more explorative with flavours, contrasts and textures. So our recommendation would be: go bolder, surprise the customer in addition to delivering that pleasing, high end experience - We wish you all the best and many thanks for a lovely evening. Un espace ext&eacute;rieur tr&egrave;s agr&eacute;able entre parc et jardin potager, au calme.Une cuisine de produits frais, des desserts &agrave; la pr&eacute;sentation originale et bons.Le service tr&egrave;s agr&eacute;able, et le passage du Chef sympathique &agrave; chaque table.Seul b&eacute;mol : La carte des vins avec des prix un peu &eacute;lev&eacute;s et le verre de vin m&eacute;riterait quelques cl de plus de breuvage.Je recommande.

Nous revenons r&eacute;guli&egrave;rement au Jardin Extraordinaire, tant pour la qualit&eacute; de ses plats, que pour le cadre des lieux. Aujourd&#39;hui encore, nous avons &eacute;t&eacute; combl&eacute;s. Et que dire de la Ma&icirc;tresse des lieux et du Chef, avec qui nous avons eu le grand plaisir de discuter, et qui sont aussi g&eacute;n&eacute;reux que bienveillants. Nous reviendrons!

Un tr&egrave;s bon moment pass&eacute; dans un joli cadre. Personnel tr&egrave;s agr&eacute;able, ambiance d&eacute;tendue, cuisine originale et d&eacute;licieuse. Le &quot;caf&eacute; piston&quot; s&#39;est r&eacute;v&eacute;l&eacute; &ecirc;tre une bonne surprise ! Je recommande !

Un tr&egrave;s bon moment. Des mets succulents et une ambiance estivale tr&egrave;s appr&eacute;ciable malgr&eacute; la chaleur. Il faut dire que le cadre participe grandement &agrave; rendre le d&eacute;jeuner encore plus qualitatif.

We booked a table for six on a Saturday night. Apart from us, only one other table of eight so a quiet night as the restaurant can probably seat three times that. Service was prompt and friendly. Multiple starters, mains and desserts available with generous portion sizes, however whilst everything was well cooked the mains arrived slightly too cold. We did feel that the prices were quite high in comparison to the plates. Also, no potatoes or tomatoes were available before Columbus so the selection of vegetables should be more adapted to the theme of the restaurant , with a bit more imagination! Perhaps time to update the menu? The fact that you can dress up in costume is a fun element and we had a good evening overall. Thank you.

Excellence in meat and cooked to perfection. Very well recommended and good value for money based on the quality of meat.

High score on TripAdvisor, we ordered maincourse tagliatelle seafood and my partner risotto schrimps and clams. Normally risotto needs chefs attention, unfortunatelly the Risotto was not at all &lsquo;al dente&rsquo; it was over cooked sticky too and a lot of Cream/ cheese in it, this last part is of course chefs choice. The Schrimps had still the Intestinal tube in it. So, both orders taste good. Schrimps &ldquo;not clean&rdquo;, risotto bad over cooked! The texture of Clamps could be purchased of better quality. Altough taste was good.
